Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to be going through something “big” to work with a life coach?
A: Not at all. Coaching can help with major life transitions, but it’s also for everyday stress, decision-making, personal growth, or just feeling stuck. If it’s on your mind, it’s worth talking about.
Q: How is coaching different from therapy?
A: Therapy focuses more on healing the past and managing mental health. Coaching focuses on the present and future—helping you clarify goals, build confidence, and take meaningful steps forward. I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, but I can work alongside a therapist if needed.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: That’s totally up to you. Some people feel a shift after a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. We’ll check in regularly and adjust based on your needs.
Q: What ages do you work with?
A: I coach both adolescents (typically ages 12 and up) and adults. Sessions are always age-appropriate and tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Q: Is everything I share confidential?
A: Yes—absolutely. Your privacy is respected and protected. The only exceptions are situations involving safety, which I’ll go over during our first session.
Q: What if I’m nervous or unsure about starting?
A: That’s totally normal. The free consultation is a great way to just talk, ask questions, and feel things out—no pressure, no commitment.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: I do NOT accept any insurance.
